Revisit some of the great days on amazing
mountains;
memorable single Munro ascents or multiple Munro
summits in a single day,
or long treks to remote mountain summits.
.
From deep snow and amazing cornice patterns on
Beinn a'Chochuill, to the crisp snow covering
on A'Chrulaiste, and great icicles on Beinn
Ime, or our annual winter ascent of The Brack,
just some of the many great winter mountains
days to choose from.
Single day, multiple Munros. Fantastic ridge
walking on the Glen Shiel Ridge or the high
domed open plateaus of the Carn Mairg Circuit,
take your choice.
The Black Cullins. Renowned for their rocky
summits and exposed ridges; revisit my first
Skye Munro, Sgurr nan Eag, to my ultimate
challenge, The Inaccessible Pinnacle.
For Munro Baggers, long treks to remote
mountains are part of the challenge. For
myself, one long trek involved the remote
Munro of Seana Braigh, while the other, was
purely a means of climbing a "local" Munro
from a rather different approach.
No walk with Alan is ever straighforward Like
the two shown here, An Stuc, in The Lawerw
Range, climbed directly from Lochan nan Cat,
and Ben Starav, from the shores of Loch
Etive.
Weekends away with Carn Dearg offer the chance
to climb distant mountains, and to spend some
time in legendary climbing huts, such as The
Ling Hut, Torridon, from where we were able to
climb three fantastic Corbetts.
